When Hideaki Sorachi started writing Gintama, he defined his work as 'science fiction human drama pseudo-historical comedy'. This was my attempt to parody GintamaвЂ™s style of naming episodes in long phrases lul. No matter how you look at it, it doesnвЂ™t make any sense This, ladies and gentlemen, is my attempt to review the King of Meta, Random Incarnated, the Tyrant of вЂњit gets goodвЂќ that is Gintama. It begs the serious question: what is Gintama? How exactly does it work? How can someone explain it when its own author didnвЂ™t even know what it was about for a big chunk of its duration? How come you always see these crazy, balls-to-the-walls clips and badass action scenes but when you actually try it you get a rather disappointing start? If you have browsed r/anime any time of the week, chances are you stumbled upon a Gintama clip that always makes it to /hot, always filled with people praising it to the heavens saying itвЂ™s impossible to explain and вЂњyou just have to watch it to experience itвЂќ.

The code to make a spoiler in a comment or text post body is: >!Spoiler goes here!< There is a limit of 2 clips per month per user.ДЄll spoilers must be tagged.Clips from currently airing shows cannot be posted within a week after the Episode Discussion thread is posted.The flair will be used for fanart that wasn't made by you or doesn't line up with our definition of OC.ДЄll posts must be text posts with a minimum of 1500 characters.Д¬lip submissions must contain the name of the show in the title and be flaired with a tag.Keep in mind they have restrictions in place to avoid spam. The flair serves for fanart made by you.You may only post Fanart once every 7 days.

Full song link posts are considered low-effort unless officially uploaded and newly released.ДЄll Fanart posts must flaired and posted as a text post.

Albums of 5 or more images (3 or more images for cosplay) will be exempt from this rule so long as the images are relevant to the point or idea being illustrated.

Do not post screenshots, jokes, single images of cosplay, wallpapers, comics, or any other low-effort content.

You may also use this thread for Merchandise related questions. Collection posts and purchases, including gifted/received items, count as merchandise.

Merchandise should be posted in our Merch Mondays Megathread.

It is not OK to try to sell your own stuff here.

Links to sales or products that you do not profit from are OK.
